It seems that extremely popular Liverpool hotel The Titanic is not only appreciated by us Scousers but also by tourists far and wide as it is named as one of the top 10 hotels in the UK, outside of London, by Conde Nast Traveller’s People’s Choice Awards 2018. Readers were asked to nominate their favourite hotel across a number of different categories, with the Titanic being the sole choice in the North West.

If you don’t know already, the hotel is a result of the restoration of one of the city’s most historic buildings. Where once was a busy warehouse is now an extremely popular hotel and spa, glamorous and refined whilst still clinging onto its rustic history, the Titanic is authenticity, contemporary design and luxury all rolled into one magnificent hotel, fully deserving of the Conde Nast Traveller’s award. itanic Hotel has been integral in breathing new life into a once derelict part of the North of the city of Liverpool. It has transformed a historic building on the “World Heritage at Risk” into a unique visitor destination.

The luxury four star hotel boasts stunning views over the Mersey estuary and Tobacco Warehouse, one of the largest brick buildings in the world. The hotel itself is made up of 153 luxurious bedrooms and suites which are double the size of most standard four star bedrooms.

The hotel offers a variety of facilities and dining options, from Stanley’s Bar and Grill which offers an extensive menu of seasonal produce in a theatre style restaurant, to the Rum Bar which specialises in 60 world renowned rums with views overlooking the waters of the Stanley Dock. Guests can also relax at Maya Blue Wellness which offers a Roman Bath style pool and a variety of treatments.

On being included in the awards, Titanic Hotel General Manager, Brian Connor, commented, “We’re delighted to have been voted as one of the top ten hotels in the UK by the Conde Nast Traveller readers. The Titanic team strive to offer the highest quality of customer service in all aspects, whilst providing unique and memorable accommodation, and it’s great to see these efforts recognised, especially by the public.”

Whether you’re planning a romantic night away, an annual girl’s or lads trip to Liverpool or even want to hire the venue for a wedding or party, the Titanic’s waterfront location combined with their stylish interiors, luxury spa and, not forgetting, their copious amounts of rum cocktails, has made it the place to be in Liverpool and we predict it will be for a long time.
