Top 54 Black-Owned Hair Care Brands for Curly Hair Care

Check out this carefully curated list of black-owned businesses in hair care.

There are a few favourite black-owned haircare brands that work excellently for curly hair but sometimes, they change ownership and/or formulas.

At other times, a product is discontinued, leaving you and your curls out in the cold and on the search for a suitable replacement.

This list is going to combine the top 54 plus black-owned haircare brands for curly hair into one place so you can experiment, research and always have something new to try out.

Some of the brands on this list are also my favourites and have been mentioned a few times on the website.

The list continues to expand as more black-owned businesses are opened every day so be sure to let me know in the comment section if I missed anyone.

I will be updating the list as time goes on so while the heading says top 54, you may find way much more than that below.

The list is also constantly being updated so something that was on it previously may be removed because the brand changed ownership and is no longer black-owned.

You may see strikethroughs on some names. That usually means the page locations have changed. I will update as I catch them.

If any brand is no longer black-owned, I will mention this specifically next to the name.
